Having Trouble Ordering on our Website?
I cant log in to my account
- This can happen if you created an account in our previous site and our now trying to log in to the new Coopands site. The best thing to do to fix this is click 'Continue to Checkout' under 'I do not have an account' and enter your details again.
I need some advice, how can I speak to someone at Cooplands?
- The Cooplands sales team is available on 01302 818000 (8.30AM to 5PM Monday to Friday and 8.30AM to 4PM on Saturdays). Don't forget though that a REAL PERSON from the Cooplands Sales Team REVIEWS EVERY ORDER before it is processed so you can add any questions or comments in the comments box when you check out online and the Sales Team will call you to resolve the query during operating hours - or they will send you an email whichever is appropriate.

Ingredient Information
- All cakes are made of genoese sponge with raspberry jam and confectioners cream unless stated otherwise.
- We do not currently make gluten or dairy free cakes.
- Sponge and chocolate cakes do not have nuts as an ingredient but there may be nut traces present.
- Our fruitcake does contain nuts and alcohol.
- Our cakes are made with vegetable fats and contain dairy products.
Cake Storage and Shelf Life
- All cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a flat sturdy surface.
- Never put cakes in the fridge other than fresh dairy cream cakes.
- Sponge and Chocolate cake will keep for one week after delivery.
- Fruit cake lasts perfectly well for months not years.

Where can I collect my order from?
We have 88 shops throughout Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds, Rotherham, Barnsley and Lincoln. Your order can be delivered to any one of these for you to collect. Find Cooplands Shop Locations here>>
You can also collect your cake from any BAP VAN if you wish - just order online and enter the BAP VAN location in the relevant section when you checkout.
What are your opening times?
The opening times of our shops vary, so please be sure to check with the shop that you are collecting from. Contact numbers for each shop can be found on the shop locator on our website. Cakes must be picked up by 4.30pm if possible.No collections are available on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays.
Can you deliver?
We offer a National Delivery service for £7.99 on all cakes marked for National Delivery. View Cooplands National Delivery Cakes here>>
We are able to offer a delivery service on ALL OTHER cakes, but only by prior agreement. Deliveries are a minimum of £30, and are quoted for on an individual basis.
Isn't it easier to come into your shop and order our cake with a sales assistant?
Whatever suits you best, but ordering on our website is designed to systematically carry you through all of the details necessary to make a perfect cake. You will see more pictures and information on our website than any of our shop sales assistants can give you. The whole process can be done efficiently from the comfort of your own home.

What is colour of trim?
Colour of trim refers mostly to the traditional cakes, which have a ribbon around and coloured decoration on them.
What is the notice given to place an order?
We require 4 days notice on our cakes. We can usually take orders at shorter notice, but this does depend on the volume of work at the time and does incur a late order charge of 10% (minimum of £5). Please contact us directly to place an order at short notice. Of course you can place your order as far in advance as you wish.
I'm not sure I want to type in my credit card details. Is it safe?
Paying for produce online is, statistically safer than using your credit card in the high street, or even carrying cash on your person. We use bank-approved security processing for all orders.
What happens if I press the wrong buttons by mistake. Will I end up with a cake that I didn't want?
The process of selecting a cake is simple. Once you have placed an order, a real person automatically deals with it! It will not be possible for your order to get lost. We personally check each order and will respond immediately if the order doesn.t make sense. For instance if you ordered a Barbie Cake with the inscription Happy Birthday Jack we would contact you to make sure that it was definitely what Jack was hoping for! You will always receive an email detailing and confirming your order.
What if I want something that isn't in your catalogue?
We always rise to a challenge! Send us your ideas by email along with how many guests you need to feed and we will reply with a price and design. Alternatively ring our sales office on 01302 361333 (8.30AM to 5PM Monday to Friday and 8.30AM to 4PM on Saturdays) and have a chat with one of our sales advisors.
What if I change my mind after I have ordered?
Quite simply ring our sales office on 01302 361333 (8.30AM to 5PM Monday to Friday and 8.30AM to 4PM on Saturdays) as soon as possible and we will deal with your alteration immediately.
Do you do cakes with Photograhic Images?
Yes! Using the latest technology we are able to reproduce any photograph or image in edible inks on the top of the cake. Add £10 for the first image and £5 for every additional one thereafter. We can scan and print any photograph or image. When ever an image is scanned and printed the quality deteriorates so make sure you give us the best quality pictures you can. If you wish to supply a digital picture, we only accept jpg images (Pronounced j-peg). You will be prompted to upload this image when placing your order on line.
Can you provide me with a Cake Stand?
We certainly can - Cake stands (such as the S shape metal one) are available for hire and need pre-booking well in advance to avoid disappointment. Cake stand hire is subject to a minimum charge of £10 per function, payable when booking your stand, £5 per day thereafter. We require a £50 deposit on collection which is refundable when the stand is returned. To trim the .S. stand in your cake colours costs an extra £5.
